Econo Steel is a Melbourne based steel and metal distribution service center that commenced trading in January 1999, with a plant located at 9-13 Lamana Road, Mordialloc, Victoria. We have a large inventory of various items and we service a very large and diverse customer base. Our facilities can cut, shear and prepare material to specifications. Econo-Steel is an independent supplier to Australian industry as well as a reseller network of distributors in various locations, serving customers in the transport, agricultural equipment and machinery industries.
Our experience extends into many industries, and sourcing materials is our specialty. We have a large database of local and international suppliers to draw materials from.

Econo Steel is situated in the South East of Melbourne suburb of Mordialloc (neighbouring Braeside) (9-13 Lamana Road), approximately 25km from Melbourne (direct line). There is good access to major arterial routes such as Nepean Highway and Boundary Roads. We are in close proximity to Dandenong, Braeside, Moorabbin and bayside areas such as Mentone.
